Kavita Gandhi has an extensive background in environment and developmental sector spanning over last 20 years. Kavita has been involved in multi-dimensional projects like United States Asia Environmental Partnership (US-AEP) and was Instrumental in setting up of Clean Technology Environmental Management Centre (CTEM) in the Singapore Manufacturer’s Association. She has experience working with environmental sector startups and SMEs in her capacity as a manager of the Singapore Association for Environmental Companies (SAFECO). Kavita was one of the key personnel involved in setting up the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore and securing a grant from SPRING Singapore to run programs in the area of local enterprise development, market development and training & conferences for clean energy industry. She also represents the association in various government and non-government committees related to clean energy. She was instrumental in developing and managing some unique programs like the SME Energy Efficiency outreach as well cleantech incubator. Kavita has an MSc in Environmental Management from Wye College, University of London.

Seated in the office of the Group President & CEO, Mr Wong is responsible for streamlining the Group’s strategic plans and key initiatives as a leading energy and urban solutions provider. Prior to joining Sembcorp, Mr Wong was CEO of Mitbana Pte Ltd, a joint venture company of Mitsubishi Corporation and Surbana Jurong. Mr Wong also held various other senior roles including Deputy Managing Director of Surbana Jurong Capital, Group Director in the Chairman’s Office, and General Manager of Surbana Myanmar.

Mr Wong is a member of the Forum of Young Global Leaders with the World Economic Forum. He also sits on the Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute in Singapore and is a member of the Singapore Urban Redevelopment Authority’s International Panel of Experts. Science from Columbia University.

Jia Yong is a member of the National Energy Transformation Office (NETO) which was set up under EMA to plan and coordinate efforts across the whole-of-government to transform how energy is produced, transported, and used. He works with public sector agencies and private sector companies on the introduction and adoption of hydrogen and its derivatives, especially for the power sector, , including developing plans and policies, and R&D. Prior to joining EMA, he has spent time in the private sector, and holds an MSc in Environmental Management from NUS.

Michelle is part of the Deloitte Southeast Asia Financial Advisory leadership team and heads the Technology and Intellectual Management practice in Southeast Asia. She has extensive experience in developing business and intellectual property strategies across various technology driven sectors, including renewables, eco/smart cities, environmental engineering and
healthcare. Michelle has led numerous engagements helping clients identify key technology trends as well as potential investment areas in the region’s competitive technology landscape.

Michelle is recognised as one of the world’s leading 300 IP Strategists in 2019, 2020, 2021 by the Intellectual Asset Management Publication. She is a Registered Management Consultant, a SINGAPORE Recognised certification programme. Her key specialisation is in Intellectual Asset Management.

Soo Earn leads Deloitte Southeast Asia Financial Advisory practice. He has extensive deal experience in leading and supporting strategic and financial investors in their domestic and cross border transactions. He has also supported owners in divesting their business and entrepreneurs in accessing growth capital. Given his technical expertise in valuation and deals, he has acted as an independent expert on a number of dispute cases, handled numerous valuation and modelling engagements for M&A, regulatory & taxation, and financial reporting purposes.
