Course Overview

In this course, the key elements of ISO 50001:2018 and ISO 50002:2014 will be introduced to participants from various industrial sectors. The participants will be able to appreciate the ease of integrating and implementing the Energy Management System, ISO 50001:2018 standard requirements and also learn the 50002:2014 standard on energy audit requirements and guidance for use in collaboration with their existing energy monitoring practices because most companies are already performing many aspects of energy audits and inspections with varying intensities and levels.

This course will provide participants with the knowledge and know-how to embrace both the standards ISO 50001:2018 and ISO 50002:2014.

Course Objectives

Learn about the Energy Management System model, requirements & key aspects of implementations and elements of the standards. Understand the purpose, structure, scope and principles of the EnMS, ISO 50001:2018 standard.

On the ISO 50002:2015, learn about different audit types on energy in a systematic analysis of energy use and energy consumption within a defined energy audit scope, in order to identify, quantify, and report on the opportunities for improved energy performance

In this course, the key principles and skills of auditing will be introduced to participants coming from various industrial sectors.

Who Should Attend

SCEMs, Energy Management representatives, ISO Energy Steering Committee members, Energy OR Other Management Systems Auditors, personnel responsible for energy matters updating and ISO conformance and compliance to regulatory requirements

Certificate

Participants will be issued a Statement of Attainment by SSG after fulfilling all attendance, assignment and assessment requirements
