Course Summary
With the impending grid-connected energy storage market developing and the imminent effect of climate change, companies in different sectors are increasingly interested in the potential of energy storage for their new business development models, environmental sustainability performance, safety and risk mitigation. It is increasingly clear that business practices must evolve moving forward in this unprecedented market environment. To take charge of this changing landscape. Be ready and build resilience for a new energy ready future.
This course examines three very important energy storage applications for the future: The change landscape of the energy market, Intergraded Solar PV Systems, grid scale electricity and latest batteries technologies.
Join us in this program to understand how energy storage can impact or help you reallocate and mitigate risk to your businesses resources.

Course Objective
Singapore's solar target as announced by Minister Chan Chun Sing is to be 3.5 Mw Peak by 2030, the nation is expected to ramp up solar installations over the next few years. As solar energy is inherently irregular (because of cloud coverage), energy storage system is critical for the storage of excess energy during times of high solar irradiance. The critical skills to designing a solar system with energy storage becomes a key strategic approach for most solar installation.
Learners will be able to:
