Global action on climate change is a driver for the transition to a net-zero carbon economy. This transition impacts all sectors though the impact is different on each. This event covers how global action translates to direct impacts to businesses. Not just the policy/regulatory risk of a price on carbon but also other impacts that affects businesses both small and large into the future.
The highlights of this event include how local companies both small and large can transit to a low carbon business model. The risk that accompanies the transition and keeping an eye on the upcoming carbon tax. Carbon mitigation tools such as carbon credits, RECs, VECs. Green electricity and renewable projects to lower an organisation's carbon footprint will be discussed.
