This meeting will coincide with Medtech 2019. Members can expect an exciting site visit to Waldner's labs, a panel discussion on sustainable labs by laboratory experts and a showcase from the different exhibitors from Medtech 2019. You will have the opportunity to network with Medtech participants and exhibitors.

Syam Kumar Prabhakaran Senior Associate Director of National University of Singapore Syam Kumar Prabhakaran is a Senior Associate Director with Office of Facilities Management, National University of Singapore where he is responsible for energy optimisation in campus facilities. Mr. Syam has more than 20 years of experience in Laboratory, Safety and Facilities Management. He has a Master degree in Engineering and several professional qualifications such as Singapore Certified Energy Manager, Workplace Safety and Health Officer, Biorisk Management and Biological Waste Management with International Federation of Biosafety Association. Syam served Asia Pacific Biosafety Association council and currently member of Sustainable Lab Singapore committee.

Hans-Juergen Budde Director of Life Sciences at Exyte Hans-Juergen Budde has >25 years working experiences at the GMP-regulated Life Sciences industry for design / engineering, construction and CQV-services. He has a master degree in Mechanical and Chemical Process Engineering of the University of Bremen and Middlesex University London, UK. Hans-Juergen Budde works with Exyte since 20years in different management positions, currently is Director of Life Sciences for APAC.
Grynberg Yann Program Director Sustainable Bluiding Technologies of Nanyang Technological
Grynberg Yann Program Director Sustainable Bluiding Technologies of Nanyang Technological Yann Grynberg is the Program Director responsible for the Smart and Sustainable Building Technologies Program (SSBT) at Energy Research Institute @NTU (ERI@N). He graduated from a French mechanical and electrical engineering school for building and civil works in Paris. He has over 17 years of experience in industry and worked for 10 years in Japan and Singapore for projects related to sustainable construction at the French company Bouygues. During that time, he facilitated, among others, the first 10 storey PPVC (Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction) building in Singapore, over the extension of the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Changi Airport. Since 2015, in ERI@N with the help of an R&D team, his aim is to test and deploy new innovative technologies and processes that allow new and existing buildings to reduce their energy consumption and reach the highest level of green certifications. His research interest also spans over the following topics: modeling and simulation for building design, innovative cooling technologies, and Smart technologies with the aim to design and build Zero Energy Building for tropics.
