Chairman & Co-Founder of AirCarbon Pte Ltd
Er. Edwin Khew Teck Fook PBM
Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, 1973; 2011 UQ International Alumnus of the Year
Chairman & Director.
Er. Edwin T.F. Khew, is the Chairman, Director and Co-Founder of AirCarbon Pte Ltd, a blockchain based digital platform to trade digital carbon and invest in sustainable projects. He is also a former Nominated Member of Parliament (NMP) and currently the Chairman of the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS), an Emeritus President of The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES), a Supervisory Board Member of Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS) and a Board member of the Professional Engineers’ Board (PEB) Singapore. Er. Khew represents SEAS on the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Energy for All Partnership’s (E4ALL) Steering Committee as its Co-Chair and Chairman of its Enterprise Development Working Group.
Er Khew has an Executive MBA from the National University of Singapore, a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Queensland, Australia, is a Fellow and Chartered Engineer of the Institute of Engineers, Singapore, a Fellow and Chartered Engineer of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (UK), a professional engineer of the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore and a Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Engineers.
Er. Khew was awarded the Public Service Medal (PBM) by the President of Singapore during Singapore’s National Day in 2014.
APAC Business Development Director and Singapore Country Manager of EDF HQ Singapore Pte Ltd
In July 2022, Mario Bernardo became the EDF’s APAC Business Development Director and EDF HQ Singapore director, based in Singapore. Previously, from 2015, he held various director positions in Africa. His responsibilities included developing a diverse project portfolio, encompassing hydro and CCGTs power plants, photovoltaics C&I, smart grids solutions, and engineering services. Mario also led the IPP project development unit for the Middle East.
His career began in 1996, as a project manager at Cogetherm, where he developed cogeneration projects. He later joined SIIF Energies (EDF Renewables), developing for 10 years wind and solar projects in Europe and North America. In 2010, he transitioned to EDF, leading major projects, including I(W)PPs in GCC and nuclear new build in Brazil.
Executive Director of Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS)
Kavita Gandhi has an extensive background in environment and developmental sector spanning over last 20 years. Kavita has been involved in multi-dimensional projects like United States Asia Environmental Partnership (US-AEP) and was Instrumental in setting up of Clean Technology Environmental Management Centre (CTEM) in the Singapore Manufacturer’s Association. She has experience working with environmental sector startups and SMEs in her capacity as a manager of the Singapore Association for Environmental Companies (SAFECO). Kavita was one of the key personnel involved in setting up the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore and securing a grant from SPRING Singapore to run programs in the area of local enterprise development, market development and training & conferences for clean energy industry. She also represents the association in various government and non-government committees related to clean energy. She was instrumental in developing and managing some unique programs like the SME Energy Efficiency outreach as well cleantech incubator. Kavita has an MSc in Environmental Management from Wye College, University of London.

Head, Energy Performance & Sustainability at Siemens
Nilesh Jadhav is a passionate clean energy and decarbonization champion, with more than 2 decades of experience in the field (seasoned professional, published author, scientist, entrepreneur, thought leader, professional trainer and coach).
He currently works as the Head of Energy Performance and Sustainability business (ASEAN/APAC) at Siemens, Smart Infrastructure-RSS. Focusing on end-to-end decarbonization solutions and digital services implementation for lifecycle sustainability for organizations, he'd help create innovative pathways towards complete decarbonization and achievement of net-zero goals.
Partner at TRIREC Fund Management Pte Ltd
Mike Lim is a partner at TRIREC and a seasoned manager with more than 20 years of experience in business operations and entrepreneurship.
Skilled in strategic business planning and execution, with a particular focus on strategic advisory, fundraising, M&A and corporate finance, Mike held various senior management roles in investment banking and corporations in Asia including Director at Thirdrock and Soteiria Capital.
He is also a former debt capital markets manager at Norinchukin Bank, the founder of several IoT and foodtech start-ups and the former CEO of an early education business which he successfully exited to an Asian PE .
In parallel to his role at TRIREC, Mike is currently a mentor of Innovate 360, a Singapore-based Agrifood Tech incubator. He is also recently appointed as the Climate Tech advisor at Singapore Deep Tech Alliance, a Singapore-based Deep-tech Incubator.
Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration (BBA) with Second Upper Honors from the National University of Singapore.
Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services Pte. Ltd.
Jennifer Tay is the Asia Pacific Infrastructure Leader for PwC and leads the infrastructure advisory practice for PwC Singapore. She has c. 20 years of experience in infrastructure – particularly in large scale financial transactions and strategic advisory, supporting both public and private sectors across the Asia regions. Jennifer’s sectors expertise includes power & energy, transportation and telecommunications
Jennifer has worked in large infrastructure companies in Singapore (in power, transport and telecommunications sectors) where her main roles were in strategic and financial planning, acquisitions, divestment, bond issues and IPO. She worked directly with Senior Management (CEOs and CFOs) of these companies in deciding strategic directions for their portfolio assets, and executed these transactions.
Jennifer advises clients on Blended Finance, Infrastructure Finance, Deals structuring, Strategic partnerships, Innovative Structuring, Due Diligence, Financial Modelling and amongst others and is based in Singapore.
She has been involved in Capital Market related transactions, such as performed bond issuance and initial public listing of infrastructure projects in the Region including SP PowerAsset global bond issuance (2003), SP AusNet in Aus and SG dual listing (2006), and Netlink Trust IPO (2017).
Director (Policy) of National Climate Change Secretariat (NCCS)
Yiran joined the National Climate Change Secretariat (NCCS) in the Prime Minister’s Office in March 2024. She is in charge of developing and coordinating Singapore’s overall climate mitigation and transition policies to achieve net zero emissions.
Prior to joining NCCS, Yiran spent around three years at the Ministry of Trade and Industry. She started as the Deputy Director of the Strategic Planning unit, and worked closely with teams across the ministry to chart out the direction for Singapore’s economic development. She subsequently took on the position as Special Assistant to the Minister for Trade and Industry, and the role of Head, New Energies Office, to drive Singapore’s efforts in developing low-carbon energy sources such as hydrogen, solar energy, and nuclear energy.
Yiran has also held appointments in the Ministry of Transport, where she supported the transition of Singapore’s public bus system from a privatised model to a contracting model, and the Ministry of Education, where she worked on policy and administrative matters relating to Singapore’s public universities.
Yiran graduated from Northwestern University, with a double major in Economics and Political Science. She also holds Master’s degrees from Sciences Po and Fudan University.
