Kavita Gandhi has an extensive background in environment and developmental sector spanning over last 20 years. Kavita has been involved in multi-dimensional projects like United States Asia Environmental Partnership (US-AEP) and was Instrumental in setting up of Clean Technology Environmental Management Centre (CTEM) in the Singapore Manufacturer’s Association. She has experience working with environmental sector startups and SMEs in her capacity as a manager of the Singapore Association for Environmental Companies (SAFECO). Kavita was one of the key personnel involved in setting up the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore and securing a grant from SPRING Singapore to run programs in the area of local enterprise development, market development and training & conferences for clean energy industry. She also represents the association in various government and non-government committees related to clean energy. She was instrumental in developing and managing some unique programs like the SME Energy Efficiency outreach as well cleantech incubator. Kavita has an MSc in Environmental Management from Wye College, University of London.

Khai Yang is currently the Executive Director, Operations Excellence for Keppel, Infrastructure division. He oversees Sustainability and Quality, Investments, Supply Chain management and Technology.

Prior to Keppel, Khai Yang served as Global Head of Commercial Strategy with Wood Mackenzie; he was also concurrently its Chairman for APAC.


Outside work, Khai Yang volunteers as the Board Treasurer of WorkWell Leaders. WorkWell Leaders aims to work with leaders to champion well-being as a strategic priority for their organisations and take mental health as a fundamental responsibility for themselves and their work communities.

Bing Yi is a Partner in PwC Singapore’s Sustainability & Climate Change practice, supporting organisations in sustainability strategy, risk management, reporting and assurance across various industries including banks, asset managers, real estate as well as other large corporates. He is the Banking ESG lead at PwC Singapore and has led various sustainability assurance and advisory engagements in his career focusing on sustainable financing, sustainability reporting, climate risk management and climate transition.
Aside from his specialism in sustainability, Bing Yi is also a Banking & Capital Markets specialist and a practising public accountant, experienced in providing audit, assurance and advisory services to various banks and financial institutions in Singapore and Australia.

He is currently part of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) Sustainability Excellence Sub-Committee, Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association (ASIFMA) sustainable finance working group and the REITAS Sustainability Task Force. In his role at the ASIFMA sustainable finance working group, he has led the association’s responses to a number of technical consultations in relation to green and transition taxonomies as well as the GFANZ consultation on Financing the Managed Phaseout of Coal-Fired Power Plants. He was also part of the MAS-convened Green Finance Industry Task Force (GFIT), and chaired the Green Bonds and Sustainable Finance workstream of PwC’s Global ESG Assurance working group.

Bing Yi currently serves as a member of the Cross-Industry Expert Panel for the School of Business & Accountancy, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, and the Advisory Panel for the Singapore Department of Statistics.

Saumya has over 12 years’ experience in consulting and investment banking.

Saumya is an infrastructure sector specialist and has managed a variety of projects in the infrastructure sector working with the Private and Government sectors in Asia and Australia. Her experience is in developing feasibility studies, advising on procurement for major infrastructure projects, advising clients to bid for large Government projects, as well as advising clients on M&A in the infrastructure sector.

Saumya has worked mainly in the Transport sector (ports, road, rail), power and utilities sector (power, water and waste), healthcare in the region. In the last 5 years, Saumya has specialized more in the renewable energy sector.

Before moving to Singapore in 2010, Saumya worked with PwC in Australia in the infrastructure sector.

Saumya has previously worked in Investment Banking with Daiwa Securities SMBC and in Institutional Equities in Morgan Stanley in Mumbai.

Irene is a Corporate Tax Partner and has been with the firm for 16 years.
Irene has advised clients on the structuring of inbound and outbound investments. She has extensive experience in helping clients with the set up of regional operations in Singapore. This involved amongst others, the design of sustainable and tax efficient holding, financing, IP and operating structures. She has also advised clients across various sectors on realignment of tax and business operating models, business integrations and corporate structure simplifications. As an incentive specialist, she assists clients with incentive planning, strategy, negotiation, application and compliance as part of the design and implementation of regional holding structures and business models. She also manages a portfolio of clients in the oil and gas, renewable energy, power and utilities, chemicals, mining and commodity trading sectors, assisting them with their tax compliance obligations and dispute resolution.

She is the Energy, Utilities and Resources leader and the Transport and Logistics Leader for tax. She is also driving the Sustainability and Energy Transition agenda for tax.

From 2013 to 2015, Irene headed up the Singapore tax desk in PwC New York, providing tax advisory services to US-based MNCs.

Prior to PwC, Irene was a senior officer with International Enterprise Singapore, responsible for promoting Singapore as a global trading hub and administration of the Global Trader Programme, a tax incentive for commodity trading companies. She had also worked at Singapore Maritime Foundation as a commercial manager, responsible for promoting Singapore as a maritime hub.

Jennifer Tay is the Asia Pacific Infrastructure Leader for PwC and leads the infrastructure advisory practice for PwC Singapore. She has c. 20 years of experience in infrastructure – particularly in large scale financial transactions and strategic advisory, supporting both public and private sectors across the Asia regions. Jennifer’s sectors expertise includes power & energy, transportation and telecommunications.

Jennifer has worked in large infrastructure companies in Singapore (in power, transport and telecommunications sectors) where her main roles were in strategic and financial planning, acquisitions, divestment, bond issues and IPO. She worked directly with Senior Management (CEOs and CFOs) of these companies in deciding strategic directions for their portfolio assets, and executed these transactions.

Jennifer advises clients on Blended Finance, Infrastructure Finance, Deals structuring, Strategic partnerships, Innovative Structuring, Due Diligence, Financial Modelling and amongst others and is based in Singapore.

She has been involved in Capital Market related transactions, such as performed bond issuance and initial public listing of infrastructure projects in the Region including SP PowerAsset global bond issuance (2003), SP AusNet in Aus and SG dual listing (2006), and Netlink Trust IPO (2017).
