Solar PV systems provide clean renewable energy suitable for a wide range of applications. The design of a solar PV system is dependent on its applications, site location, and type of system. In fact, there are many other factors within project requirement which should be considered when designing a solar PV system.

Learners attending the course will be equipped with knowledge and skills to design solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems based on recommended technical specifications and project requirements.

Participants will also be required to complete a self-directed e-learning.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, learners should be able to:

  • Develop PV system designs based on project requirements
  • Describe key factors affecting the design of solar PV systems
  • Apply design simulation and modelling to ensure that selected components meet project requirements

Certificate

Participants will be issued a Statement of Attainment by SSG after fulfilling all attendance, assignment and assessment requirements

(SSG Training Grant Approved Course, available for Singaporean and PR)
