Event Details

This session will share increasing stakeholders' (including regulators and investors) expectations on climate-change related issues, and how should organization manage Greenhouse Gas (GHG) -related liabilities and opportunities. This increase in expectations globally has led to new ways in managing GHGs such as adopting Science-based GHG targets and using The Financial Stability Board Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) for Climate-related financial disclosures. This session will provide an overview on internationally accepted methods to measure, manage, and communicate the GHG journey of an organization.

Measurement and verification of greenhouse gas emissions across the entire value chain of a company forms the cornerstone of climate change strategy. The old adage, you can't manage what you don't measure, is very important when it comes to greenhouse gas emissions. This session will explore how knowing current and future value chain emissions can have a profound impact on corporate strategy and help companies identify where future risk exposure may be.
